I purchased my first pair of Golden Goose sneakers a few months ago (and shared them first in this post!), and have been asked a lot about them ever since. So many that I decided it was finally time to do a full write-up! Where did you purchase them?

Cettire had them on sale and I took advantage right away!

I ordered them on April 28th and they were at my door by the 30th, so the shipping was really quick .

How expensive are they?

When I bought my pair in spring, I paid around $385, but their full price is $513.91.

These sneakers goose shoes typically cost anywhere between $400 to nearly $1,700, depending on how detailed they are.

Do they fit as expected?

They ran true to size for me — I usually wear a size 6, and I went with a European 36.

They haven’t stretched noticeably, so if you’re in the middle, I’d go up

Is the comfort worth it?

They required minimal break-in time..

How durable are they?

They look worn from the start, I didn’t worry about scuffing them more. I’ve worn them all over NYC, and they still look great. The laces are intact, and the structure feels strong. Thanks to the vintage look, I can’t even tell if there’s new wear and tear.

How do they compare to other sneakers?

They’re the highest quality sneakers I have. I wear Vejas and Tretons too, but Golden Goose are just on another level. There’s a secret wedge inside that adds just over an inch — making your legs look longer. Not to mention, they’re handmade in small batches, so each pair is custom-feeling. And the sparkle on mine? Next-level.

Are they worth it?

Absolutely! Just try not to pay full price. They’re expensive, so getting them with a promo is a better idea. Still, I think they’re worth a few hundred bucks, especially if you get a pair you love. Mine have pink glitter, but a low-key version would also look great.
